About this Course
What You Will Learn
The Lead Project is a 6-week training program designed to help bachata leads develop the skills that don’t always get enough attention in regular group classes.
With a small group and personalized guidance, we’ll focus on body movement, timing, musicality, leading technique, and building confidence through practical exercises.
Whether you’re just starting or have been dancing for years, this training is about understanding your movement, improving your leading skills, and feeling more comfortable on the dance floor.
- Weeks 1–4 | Solo Training Develop body awareness, balance, coordination, musicality, and a better understanding of your own movement before leading a partner.
- Weeks 5–6 | Partnerwork Apply everything you’ve learned with follows, focusing on connection, clear communication, and real social dancing situations.

Prerequisites
No prerequisites required—this course is designed for all levels. Everyone is welcome, even if you’ve never danced bachata before!
Make Up Class/Refund Policy
All course registrations are non-refundable. Each enrollment secures one of our limited class spots, ensuring your place in the program and preventing others from registering in your place. For this reason, once you’ve booked, we cannot issue refunds. Dancer University also reserves the right to adjust course details as needed—including instructor assignments, studio location, dates, or times—without altering the value or structure of the course. Any such changes will be communicated in advance.
